Peyton Manning’s Legacy is Up in the Air

Posted: October 21, 2014 in NFL

Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is the all-time leader in NFL history for touchdown passes with 510. It’s truly an unbelievable accomplishment, but can he be proclaimed as the best quarterback ever? Not at this time. Manning’s biggest eye sore on his resume is that he only has one Super Bowl ring. The benchmark for quarterbacks is Joe Montana, who won four Super Bowls with the San Francisco 49ers in the 1980s. The Broncos quarterback has shown no signs of slowing down, so he’s got time to win four career Super Bowl rings. If he’s able to catch the 49ers great, then it would be safe to say that Manning is the best quarterback in NFL history.
